Volunteer Opportunities

Community Fundraising – Assists the chairperson with the fundraising activities (variable time commitment)

Directory and Web Advertising – Assists in soliciting advertising for the Directory and web site (variable time commitment during August and early September).

Directory Proofreading – Proofreads directory sections, assists with labeling and distribution of directories (2-3 hour commitment in late September/early October)

Hospitality – Attends BASIS Scottsdale and Boosters events (minimal time commitment)

Lunch Servers – Monday – Assists with the distribution of lunches (3-hour time commitment approximately once a month)

Lunch Servers – Wednesday – Assists with the distribution of lunches (3-hour time commitment approximately once a month)

Lunch Servers – Friday – Assists with the distribution of lunches (3-hour time commitment approximately once a month)

Membership Drive – Promotes Boosters membership (time commitment is during August and September)

Smoothie Sales (Tuesdays) Assists with the distribution of smoothies (3-hour time commitment approximately once a month)

Social Events (Middle School) – Assists with planning and organizing the social activities for the students throughout the school year (flexible time commitment)

Social Events (Upper School) – Assists with planning and organizaing the social activities for the students throughout the school year (flexible time commitment)

Student Awards Assembly – Inflates balloons for each end-of-grading period awards assembly (2-hour commitment four times per year for middle school and 2 times per year for upper school)

Teacher Appreciation – Assists with the monthly teacher luncheons by preparing or bringing items (such as salads, casseroles, baked goods, drinks), assists with teacher appreciation week and oher activities to recognize and support the BASIS teachers and staff (1-2 hours per month)
