Welcome to the 2011/2012 BASIS Scottsdale school year.  Here’s everything you need to know about becoming a member of the Bulldog Boosters, the school’s parent volunteer group.  We hope you will join us to make the BASIS experience the best it can be!

What are the benefits of your Boosters Membership?

Student Directory (students of Boosters’ members)
All Boosters members will be included in, and will receive, a Free Bulldog Boosters Student Directory.  If you are not a registered Boosters member by September 15th, your student information will not be included in the Directory. The Bulldog Boosters Student Directory is published by the Bulldog Boosters and will be your only source for student information.

Support and Appreciation of our Students, BASIS Teachers, and Staff
All the money that Boosters generates goes directly to the support of our students and teachers.  We organize the majority of social events for the students and appreciation efforts for our teachers.  We are the school’s only parent group, and we promote the BASIS Scottsdale family community.

This website is your source for accurate and current information from both BASIS Scottsdale and the Bulldog Boosters, including events, announcements, forms, news, and more!

How do the Bulldog Boosters raise money?
Bulldog Boosters are fully supported by the families of BASIS Scottsdale students. We raise money in the following ways:

1. Membership fees
2. School lunches
3. BASIS T-shirts
4. Donations from BASIS families
5. Fundraising activities  (e.g. restaurant nights, scrip program)

What services do the Bulldog Boosters provide?

Social Activities
Our Social Committee is dedicated to providing fun off-campus activities for our students.  Monthly events are scheduled so check the online calendar for updates!

Lunches
Boosters coordinate lunch services on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and smoothies on Tuesdays.

Boosters Carpool Forum
To facilitate transportation matters, we have set up a Carpool Forum to help families connect with each other to set up their own carpools.  You can find this information on the Transportation Tab.

Teacher Appreciation
Monthly lunches are prepared and served to the teachers and staff to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.  In addition, staff and teachers are honored during teacher appreciation week.

Textbook Sales – Used
Used textbooks, if available, can be purchased through the Boosters.  Contact Lori Noss at lorinoss@gmail.com.

Student Spirit
We support student recognition ceremonies as a celebration of student achievements with balloons.  We also provide treats on occasional Fridays to students who are wearing BASIS t-shirts.

What are the costs of joining the Bulldog Boosters?

Membership Costs

Basic Membership:  $45   Includes: 1 directory, discount on lunches

Silver Membership: $100 Includes: 1 directory, discount on lunches, 1 limited edition t-shirt

Gold Membership: $200  Includes: 2 directories, discount on lunches, 2 limited edition t-shirts

Directory Costs

Boosters Member:  First one free; additional Directories $10

(You must be a registered Booster member by September 10th to be included in the Directory)

Non-Boosters Member Directory Price:  $20 each
